To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our department High Performance Vehicle Development an

(Sr.) Engineer for Concept Development Suspension-, Steering- & Braking Systems / Components for N Brand (M/F/D)

You will be responsible for

(Concept) Development of chassis, suspension, steering, brake, rims, tires, etc. for High Performance Vehicles (N brand)
Development and integration of competitive components/systems with focus on excellent driving dynamics
Identification of market/technology trends e.g. based on supplier contacts, conference participation and other sources
Benchmarking and target definition for components, system performance and overall vehicle performance
Trouble shooting for target fulfilment during development phase for suspension, steering & brake components/systems
Project planning whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources and timeframe
Documentation and presentation of project & development results
Close cooperation with HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea) as well as external partners

Who we are looking for

Degree in mechanical/ automotive engineering
Min. 3 years of related experience in engineering design for High Performance Vehicle, Sports or Race cars
Expert in High Performance Vehicle suspension, steering & brake engineering including (elasto-)kinematics layouts
Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
Pro-activity & high self-motivation with excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
Very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills and openness to work in a multi-national environment
Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
