To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our department EPPD a

(SR.) ENGINEER CHARGING PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION (M/F/D)

  • Characterizing and validating HMG EVs charging performance & efficiency capabilities at different ambient temperatures
  • Deeply analyzing areas for performance optimization with focus on HMG 400/800V
  • Scouting and evaluating competitors charging performance approaches and strong points
  • Developing charging performance database analysis tool and providing proposals for new performance metrics
  • Supporting development and validation of new charging functions that affect charging performance
  • New proposal for performance efficiency analysis and effect on state of health depletion (charging paths, V2X, usage, etc.)
  • Evaluating feasibility of advanced charging technologies, project organization, R&R and testing plan development
  • Supporting the activities for establishment of new charging lab facility with focus on development of charging performance activities
  • Fostering cross-department collaboration for development and validation of new charging functions
  • Joining and monitoring the EU working group on new EU regulatory requirements for new charge (V2G, P&C, etc.)

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in electric/automotive engineering
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem-solving mentality
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of charging standards (DIN, ISO 15118-2, ISO 15118-20, etc.)
  • Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
  • Experience in automotive (EV/PHEV/FCEV) is a plus
  • A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
  • Experience in HV systems and CAN monitoring/simulation
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness to travel and valid European driving license
