(Sr.) ENGINEER FOR CAE & DMU/PACKAGE FOR N-BRAND (M/F/D)

To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our HPVD department a

 (Sr.) Engineer for CAE & DMU/Package for N-brand (M/F/D)

You will be responsible

  • CAE development and packaging/integration of components and systems for High Performance Vehicles (N-brand)
  • Preparation of feasibility studies and concept designs in consideration of overall vehicle concepts/architectures, manufacturability, material selection, cost, etc.
  • Benchmarking and target definition for components, system and overall vehicle concepts
  • Validation of virtual (CAE, Package) development based on real vehicle situation and testing
  • Preparation of design guidelines for design and component development
  • Identification of market / technology trends, e.g. based on supplier information and conference participation
  • Scouting and implementation of latest development tools
  • Collaboration with our R&D Center in Namyang (Korea) and external partners
  • Documentation and presentation of project & development results in English language

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or comparable
  • Min. 3 years of experience in CAE and/or DMU/Package at OEM, Tier 1 or Engineering Companies
  • Expert knowledge of CAE tools (preferably CATIA V5, inclusive of kinematics modules)
  • Experience in reverse engineering and validation (e.g. based on scan data, vehicle testing, etc.)
  • Experience in data systems (PLM, BOM, ...) and drawing release process at OEMs
  • Pro-activity & high self-motivation with excellent analytical skills as well as a passion for learning
  • Very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills and openness to work in a multi-national environment
  • Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
