To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our EPPD department an

(Sr.) Engineer Charging Interoperability Development and Validation (M/F/D)

You will be responsible for

  • Interoperability validation of HMG EVs in EU charging infrastructure: organization, testing, data analysis and issues troubleshooting.
  • Investigation of HMG EVs 400/800V charging compatibility optimization areas.
  • Join the EU working groups working on new EU regulatory requirements for interoperability.
  • Supporting validation of charging performance/efficiency of HMG EVs and competitors.
  • Documentation and presentation of project & development results.
  • Project planning whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources, and timeframe.
  • Close cooperation within HMETC departments and the R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea).

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor /Master Degree in electric/ mechanical/ automotive engineering – Experience on xEV tech. is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem-solving mentality.
  • A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of charging standards (DIN, ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20, etc… ) is a plus.
  • Experience in usage of software such as CANoe, INCA, CAN network simulation (CAPL) and monitoring.
  • Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends.
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B.
