To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our EPPD department an

Engineer for EV Drivability & Energy Efficiency Development (M/F/D)

You will be responsible for

  • Developing and calibrating EV mass production projects for Hyundai, Kia & Genesis brands
  • Calibrating EV powertrains in terms of drivability, performance, torque and energy management
  • Organize and execute local and international test trips aimed to validate the vehicle F/E (Fuel Efficiency)
  • Support the EV towing performance validation on proving ground & public road
  • Monitoring the new EU7 regulations for EV
  • Benchmarking main competitor vehicles with focus on new EV technology functionalities
  • Organizing, handling of and analyzing data for fleet tests
  • Defining and developing software function logics
  • Project planning while ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources and timeframe
  • Documenting and presenting project & development results
  • Cooperating closely with HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea)

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in mechanical/ electronic/ automotive engineering
  • Experience in the area of vehicle calibration development & EV powertrain systems is a plus
  • Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
  • Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B (BE driving license is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
  • A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
