To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our EPSD department an

 Intern / Working Student for Virtual Development & Controls (M/F/D)

You will be working on

  • Support within “ Virtual Development & Controls ” team
  • Modelling, simulation and controls development for electrified propulsion systems
  • Integration, testing and validation of control algorithms or system plant models
  • Support development of X-in-the-Loop (XiL) virtual testing environments and methods
  • Preparation, collection and post-processing of measurement data from test bench or vehicle
  • Documentation and presentation of project & development results
  • Close cooperation with team colleagues and other HMETC departments

Who we are looking for

  • Student in the field of mechanical, automotive, electronics, mechatronics, controls engineering or similar
  • Affinity for coding of applications and functions, basic knowledge in C or Python is advantageous.
  • Familiar with modeling and simulation tools such as Matlab / Simulink
  • First experience in the area of vehicle testing and measurement equipment is a plus
  • Student with focus on project work, afterwards master thesis possible
  • Valid European driving license B
  • Distinct analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
  • A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel

 

Working hours: Intern - 40 hours/week; working student - 20 hours/week. 

Length of the contract: 6 months, prolongation possible.
